Welcome to Employment

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT –
THE CURRENT APPLICANT ONLINE SYSTEM WILL BE DISCONTINUED AS OF SUNDAY EVENING, NOVEMBER 2.  If you are in the process of finishing an application on the current system, please be sure to submit it no later than Sunday, November 2.

To better serve our applicants, current employees and hiring managers, Highline Public Schools is implementing a new online applicant system called HRM Plus on Monday, November 3.  Applicants returning to our employment website to apply for positions on or after November 3 will need to create an account (register) in the new HRM Plus applicant online system, create their profile and complete the My Checklist process.   The new system provides instructions as applicants move through each step of the application process.  If additional assistance is required, please contact the Employment Services Department at 206-631-3125.

Highline Public Schools is committed to recruiting individuals whose values align with our strategic plan. The plan's promise is that every student is known by name, strength, and need, and graduates prepared for college, career, and citizenship.

The collective commitment embodied in the plan is grounded in the community’s deep belief that Highline students are capable of reaching the plan’s ambitious goals and is driven by students’ aspirations for their future.

The instructional vision articulated in the plan is organized around Four Pillars that guide professional and organizational practices:
  • Equitable access to rigorous, standards-based instruction.
  • Results-focused professional learning and collaboration. Investing in our people so they continuously fine-tune their craft and grow in their profession.
  • Strong partnerships with families and community. Schools can’t do it alone. We are better when students, families, community and educators work hand-in-hand.
  • A culturally responsive organization.
Our diversity is a strength and an asset. We are committed to equity, excellent service for all, and continuous improvement.

We use Online Application for all vacancies.
