Global Connections Senior Linda Yim
Senior Linda Yim has been named Southwest King County Chamber of Commerce Student of the Month for March.

Linda Yim attends Global Connections High School at the Tyee Educational Complex located in SeaTac. She is currently a hard working 2012 senior who is on time for her graduation. She is very outgoing and loves to participate in school clubs, sports, and activities. One of her favorite subjects is the marketing/DECA program. Being able to be involved three years in a row with the marketing and DECA program, she was able to grow and expand on her leadership, business, time management, and organizational skills.
Some of Linda's academic achievements include Student of the Month of March 2011, Adventurer Junior of the Year 2011, and Student of the Month of September 2011. Taking her education seriously, these awards and plaques display the wonderful student Linda is in her school and community. She has also learned responsibility in her roles of cheer captain, National Honor Society president, track and field member, DECA officer, and Youth Venture member. She believes involvement in activities such as these is extremely important.
A proud high school student, Linda Yim has officially been accepted to UW Bothell and plans to hear back from other schools soon. Her goal is to one day open her own business in either cosmetology or graphic design.
