The Academic Placement Testing Program’s Mathematics Placement Test (MPT) is required for many students who plan to attend the state’s public universities this Fall.
Students are encouraged to test at summer Statewide testing dates to take advantage of the lower test fee ($15, as opposed to $25-$45 for On-Campus testing) and to ensure that their scores are available in a timely fashion. Testing opportunities will be limited once students arrive on campus.
Information about the test, test registration, and upcoming test dates, along with sample problems for the MPT, are available on the APTP website at www.placement.washington.edu.
Questions may be addressed to Alaina Giesbrecht at aptp@u.washington.edu or (206) 543-1790. |
