Students may arrive on campus no earlier than 8:45 a.m. That's when adult supervision begins and we can keep your children safe.
Other morning drop-off concerns: drop off safety, parking, crosswalks, and pets on campus.

- When dropping student off in the morning, please be on the lookout for pedestrians and buses and afford each the right of way.
- Please do not park your vehicle in the bus zone. There is no access to the bus zone by private vehicles between 3:00 and 4:00pm (please use the church parking lot or see our complete policy on after school pick up in our Family Handbook for more information).
- The Des Moines Police Department has informed us that they will be issuing traffic citations for those double parked along 9th Avenue.
- We cannot allow students to cross 9th Avenue except at designated cross walks. Please be good role models for safe pedestrian behavior.
- Parents are not to use the staff parking lot for before or after school pick up and are not to park in the staff parking lot at any time.
- And, though we love them, we cannot allow dogs or other pets on campus. If you walk with your furry friend to pick up your child, please wait on the public sidewalks.
Thanks, as always, for abiding by the requests and reminders of staff members related to these policies and expectations.
