From Washington State to Washington D.C.
Global Connections Wind Ensemble
Presidential Inauguration Festival Performance
January 18-21, 2013

Our band has been invited to participate in the 2013 Presidential Inauguration Music Festival in Washington D.C. and attend the Presidential Inauguration Ceremony.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for our students!

Hundreds of high school bands from across the U.S. were invited to audition. Our Wind Ensemble is one of only four schools in the country invited to participate with no audition required, by recommendation of a national adjudicator.

The 37 students in our Wind Ensemble reflect the ethnic and cultural diversity of our community; 78 percent of Global Connections students live in poverty.
