Proposed Bond Projects

Prop. 1 would provide Highline students with equitable access to safe and modern schools. The projects in this bond were recommended by Highline's Capital Facilities Advisory Committee.

Rebuild Evergreen High School

Evergreen High School was built in 1955. The campus consists of 10 buildings with multiple points of entry, making it difficult to secure in an emergency. It is not able to accommodate the same student learning technology that students in new schools have.

Rebuild Tyee HIgh School

Tyee High School was built in 1962. The campus consists of 9 buildings with multiple points of entry, making it difficult to secure in an emergency. It is not able to accommodate the same student learning technology that students in new schools have.

Rebuild Pacific Middle School

Pacific Middle School was built in 1960. The campus consists of 8 buildings with multiple points of entry, making it difficult to secure in an emergency. It is not able to accommodate the same student learning technology that students in new schools have.

Fund critical repairs and improvements across the district

  • Replenish the capital fund for emergency repairs
  • Roofing, painting, carpeting, heating/ventilation or other improvements/repairs
  • Sylvester Middle School synthetic field & track 
  • Transportation Building L replacement
  • Remodel a site for Highline Virtual Academy 
  • Maritime High School - district contribution
