  • Weigh in on High School Schedule Changes

    Will students have 4, 5, 6, or 7 periods in the day? Will there be 2 terms or 3? Will class periods be longer or shorter? High school course schedules will change in September 2018 to give students more choices and opportunities to earn more credits over 4 years.

  • Saved from the "Levy Cliff"

    Late on Wednesday, March 8, the Senate adopted a bill to extend the "levy cliff" for a year. Today, the House also approved the bill. The measure now goes to the governor’s desk for his signature.
