February 13 Ballot & Voter Information

    • In Washington, a school levy measure must be approved by 50% of the vote.
    • All voting in Washington is done by mail.
    • Ballots are mailed about three weeks prior to an election day. 
    • Ballots must be returned by February 13.

    There are three ways to register to vote in King County:

    Tuesday, February 13, is Election Day. Highline Public Schools has one measure on the ballot. We encourage all registered voters to vote. If you vote by mail, ballots must be postmarked no later than February 13. Or, you may turn in your mail ballot on or before February 13 at a ballot drop-off location. Click here for a list of ballot drop-off locations in King County.
