    Vanessa Banner Dear Pacific Families:

I am pleased to announce that Superintendent Enfield has appointed Vanessa Banner as the next principal of Pacific Middle School.

Ms. Banner reflects many of the characteristics identified by staff and families as important in a new leader. She is a clear and transparent communicator; she is committed to collaboration and shared leadership; she is culturally responsive to all cultures and ethnicities; and she is a relationship-builder.

Ms. Banner has many years of experience at the middle school level as an assistant principal, teacher, AVID coordinator, and athletic coach. Since 2014, Ms. Banner has served at TEC High School on the Evergreen campus. At 87 percent, TEC has the highest graduation rate of any high school in Highline.

Ms. Banner will begin as Pacific principal on July 1. Please welcome her to Pacific.
