Complaints received by the Board or a board member shall be referred to the Superintendent for investigation.
The Superintendent or designee shall develop procedures to handle complaints concerning staff or programs. These procedures shall provide that complaints about the school district or school district personnel shall be dealt with quickly and thoroughly.
Complaints about the Superintendent should be submitted directly to the School Board chairperson. Complaints regarding instructional materials should be pursued in the manner suggested by Policy 2311, Learning Resources Materials (Selection, Purchase and Disposition).
