The Board will establish the work year for personnel employed by the district. An employee's work year, including vacation, holidays and other work year benefits, shall be consistent with the terms and conditions contained in the appropriate collective bargaining agreements (or the collective bargaining agreement to which the non-represented employee is aligned for absences, leaves and other benefits) and/or individual employee contracts or work agreements, whichever is appropriate. The terms of an employment contract shall not exceed twelve (12) months unless otherwise provided by law.
Certificated personnel with additional assignments may be employed under a supplemental or extra duty contract consistent with state law.
