Procedure 3242 - CLOSED CAMPUS

The following are procedures to be followed in implementing the High School OffCampus Lunch Privilege. 1. All high school juniors and seniors may leave campus for lunch when a verified High School Off-Campus Permission Form 3242F is completed by the parent(s)/ guardian(s) and verified by the school administration.
2. An ASB identification card, along with an off-campus card, are required.
3. All other students are to remain on campus for lunch, unless the parent(s)/guardian(s) has sent a release for the student to leave school due to medical and/or personal circumstances, or for a specific school-related reason such as travel to the SeaTac Occupational Skills center or work-based learning programs.
4. High school juniors and seniors who transport 9th and 10th grade students to lunch will lose their privilege to leave campus according to requirements established at each high school by high school administrators, ASB officers and student leaders. A 30- day suspension of the right to participate in High School Off-Campus Lunch Privilege for violation of the guidelines is to be one of the rules.
5. A follow-up evaluation of these procedures will occur at the conclusion of each year along with all school policies and procedures.
