School Board Special Meeting: Accountability Audit Exit Conference with representatives from the Office of the Washington State Auditor

The State Auditor’s Office (SAO) performs Federal, Financial Statement, and Accountability audits of every large school district annually. In the spring, Highline held an exit entrance conference with SAO for the Federal and Financial Statements audits of the 2024-25 fiscal year. The Accountability audit for 2024-25 has also concluded, and at this meeting the SAO will share the results of that aspect of their annual audit
