Committee Studies Buildable Areas, Site Constraints and Opportunities at Aging School Campuses as Part of Planning Process for Future Bond
Meeting Summary: June 23, 2025
Highline’s Capital Facilities Advisory Committee (CFAC) met on June 23 to continue its work toward a recommendation for a future school bond measure. A highlight of the meeting was a site feasibility analysis presented by Bassetti Architects, focusing on some of the district’s oldest active school sites.
The presentation included an overview of buildable areas and setbacks at each site, along with unique constraints and opportunities shaped by each school’s age, location, and layout. This information will help inform future discussions about potential school replacements and upgrades.
