We recognize that with the availability of COVID vaccines for 5- to 11-year-olds, you may be considering a move back to in-person instruction for your child. If you want to make this transition before the end of the school year, we suggest that the best time would be after winter break.
Moving to in-person instruction will mean your child will have a new teacher and new classmates. As your student’s parent or guardian, you are in the best position to judge whether a mid-year transition is best for them.
We will do our best to place your student in the school where they were previously enrolled (or the middle or high school associated with that school). If space is not available in your student’s home school, they would be placed in another school where there is room in their grade level. They would return to their home school next fall.
We will honor the request of any family who wants in-person instruction for their student as soon as possible after the first of the year.
We want to be as prepared as possible to process changes to in-person learning. If you are planning to switch your student from remote to in-person learning after winter break, please complete this form.
