Grants totaling nearly $47,000 are going to teachers and staff across Highline. The Highline Schools Foundation awarded nine Impact Grants and 13 Excel Grants to Highline staff this year.
The Foundation’s grant program supports classroom innovation, enhances learning opportunities and offer experiences that students may not otherwise be able to access. Excel Grants provide up to $1,000 for projects and Impact Grant provides up to $10,000 for projects.
“It’s such a pleasure to be able to promote expanded learning opportunities and student supports through these grants,” said Fred Swanson, Executive Director of Highline Schools Foundation. "We’re grateful to the educators who applied, who give us the opportunity to invest in their great work with Highline students and families.”
