๐ก School Board Considers Levy Renewal
A resolution to place an educational programs and operation levy on the November 2025 ballot was introduced at the June 18 School Board meeting. This levy would renew local funding for educational programs, services and staff—filling the gap between what the state provides and what’s needed to support all Highline students. The School Board is expected to take action on the levy resolution at its next meeting on Wednesday, July 2 at 12:00 p.m. Staff, families and community members are welcome to attend and may sign up to share public comments.
๐ค Your Feedback is Important
The proposed 2025-26 budget includes no cuts, thanks to stable enrollment and past reductions. But gaps in state funding remain. Share your input in our online ThoughtExchange and speak at the public hearing on June 25.
๐No-Cost Summer Meals
Highline is offering no-cost summer meals to all children and teens ages 18 years and younger. Youth do not need to be enrolled in Highline Public Schools to participate—everyone is welcome!
๐จYou Can Still Register for PSSC Summer Session
All current 8th – 11th grade students can apply to the PSSC Summer Session. PSSC summer sessions are introductory. Students who successfully complete a summer program earn 0.5 high school elective credit.
