At Glacier Middle School, Friday rewards help build a positive and predictable school experience for students. Staff use this time to reinforce shared expectations, celebrate positive choices and help students feel connected and supported. This is one way Glacier is building a welcoming school culture where students know what to expect and feel ready to learn.

CollegeCon is back on Saturday, April 25. This free event is for students in grades 7–12 and their families. Spend the day exploring college and career options, joining hands-on workshops and connecting with colleges, training programs and employers. Get help with financial aid and planning next steps after high school.
🍏 Kindergarten Enrollment Now Open for 2026–27
Do you have a child who will be 5 years old by August 31? It’s time to enroll for kindergarten! Enrolling early helps schools connect families with welcome events, readiness supports and programs like Jump Start, so students start school feeling confident and ready to learn. 📅 School Board Meeting Schedule
You are welcome to join the Highline School Board and superintendent at a school board meeting. All school board meetings are held at the Central Office, 15675 Ambaum Boulevard SW in Burien, typically every other Wednesday, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The next meeting will be held on April 15. All regular board business meetings, work sessions and public hearings are public, and everyone is encouraged to attend.
