🕒 Last Day of School 

The last day of school is Tuesday, June 18. This will be a three-hour day, starting at your normal start time. Only breakfast will be served. 

🚲 Spotlight on Safety: Helmet Tips

May is National Bike to School and Work Month. Don’t forget to wear your helmet! Helmets can lower head injuries by 48% and serious injuries by 60%. Ensure helmets fit correctly and model helmet-wearing to encourage children. See more tips and resources

📅 School Board Meeting Schedule 

You are welcome to join the Highline school board and superintendent at a school board meeting. All school board meetings are held at the Central Office, 15675 Ambaum Boulevard SW, Burien, 98166, every other Wednesday from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 15. All regular board business meetings, work sessions and public hearings are public, and everyone is encouraged to attend. 

🥞 What’s Cooking Next Week for School Meals

Next week, we look forward to the scratch-made Zesty Southwest Enchilada Bake on the elementary lunch menu. School meals are available to all students at no cost this school year. Check out school menus online every Friday (that’s today!) for the following week.
