Lunch Price Increase of 25¢ Coming this Fall

Lunch Price Increase of 25¢ Coming this Fall
Kitchen Lead

Due to rising costs and federal regulations, the price of school meals will increase by 25¢ starting this fall. Students will pay $1.75 for breakfast, $3.00 for elementary lunch and $3.25 for lunch in middle and high school. Adults who wish to purchase lunch can do so for $4.00.

Students who qualify for free and reduced-price meals under federal guidelines will be provided meals at no charge. This cost will be covered by a combination of federal, state and local funds.

The last lunch price adjustment was a 25¢ increase in 2014. Breakfast prices have remained the same for more than 10 years.

Meal prices will continue to be the same or lower than neighboring school districts. We do not anticipate the need to increase prices again for several years.

Families can prepay for school meals through our website.
