Nearly 92% of families who made a selection for schooling next fall are choosing to send their students to school in person. Just 832 students--362 elementary and 470 secondary--have requested remote learning for 2021-22.
However, the families of more than half of currently enrolled students did not make a selection before the process closed on May 27. As communicated earlier, students who did not choose a remote option will be assigned to in-person learning.
We recognize that some families may find it hard to make a choice in June for September; however, we need time to plan the appropriate staffing for fall classes.
If families need to change their assignment, they can submit a Change of Assignment request between July 1 and August 2. Requests will be granted as space is available. Families requesting a change will be notified about their students' assignments the week of August 16.
The Change of Assignment form will be sent to families on June 30 and will also be available on our district website.
