Construction is underway on new tennis courts at Mount Rainier High School as part of the district's investment in maintaining and upgrading safe, high-quality athletic facilities.
The existing courts will be replaced with a reinforced concrete court system. Unlike traditional asphalt courts, this type of surface is built for added strength and durability, helping it last better over time.
Construction began this week and is anticipated to be completed in late September.
Alternate plans will be made for September tennis practice and communicated to the boys tennis team as needed.
This site improvement is funded by the 2022 school bond.
