We have received reports of an email scam has been circulating, inviting students to join a paid work-study program at Highline Public Schools. Highline is not offering any such program, and this message is not legitimate.
This appears to be a phishing attempt—an email scam designed to trick readers into providing personal information or clicking on unsafe links. Our technology team is monitoring the situation and has blocked the sender where possible.
If you're unsure whether an email is phishing, it's best to err on the side of caution: do not click or download anything and report the email.
You can report the email using the Microsoft Outlook "Report Phishing" feature (in Gmail, click on the three dots in the upper right corner within an email and select ‘report as phishing’).
