Southern Heights Site Damaged by Fire
Our Southern Heights site was significantly damaged by a fire late Tuesday night. Southern Heights houses Innovation Heights Academy and Highline Virtual Academy.
The building sustained significant damage to the roof and gym. There is water and smoke damage throughout much of the building. The fire department is investigating the cause of the fire as a possible arson.
We are working with our insurance adjuster to determine the extent of the damage and the impact this may have on school in the fall.
Our first priority is to ensure students have a safe, comfortable learning environment by the first day of school in September.
