Spotlight on Safety: Contacting Schools During a Communications Outage 

Sometimes our schools might lose phone and internet service. When there is an outage, here is what you need to know to keep everyone safe and learning on track:

• Regular School Schedule: Schools will operate on their normal schedule. There are no changes to class times.
• For Urgent Matters: Contact the district Safety & Security Office at 206-631-7600. Examples of urgent matters include student safety concerns or immediate health issues.
• Non-urgent Issues: Please avoid calling with general questions or non-urgent matters. This helps keep lines open for emergencies.
• Updates: We will post updates on your school website via a page pop-up.

Outages are not uncommon. They can occur due to weather, nearby construction or other factors. You can help us keep a focused and safe learning environment.
