Superintendent Duran has completed his fall listening tour, and now we move into Phase 2 of his entry plan. This includes analyzing the feedback from the community meetings, focus groups, and other feedback loops and identifying themes and next steps.
Over the past three months, Dr. Duran has held seven public listening sessions, and 27 focus groups were conducted by the U.W. Center for Educational Leadership. Learnings based on the input from students, staff, families, and community partners will be shared with the community in January.
This feedback will help guide the update to our Highline strategic plan this spring, in Phase 3 of the superintendent's entry plan.
