The Highline Schools Foundation announced that 33 scholarships, totaling $325,750, have been awarded to graduating seniors across Highline Public Schools.
An additional 16 Scholar Athlete awards, presented in partnership with Highline Public Schools Athletics, will be added in the coming weeks.
Foundation awards were presented at the 2026 HSF Scholarship Reception on Thursday, May 7. The 16 Scholar Athlete Awards are scheduled to be presented on Tuesday, May 19. One additional scholarship will be presented during the Highline Public Schools Pacific Islander Showcase.

2026 Scholarship Recipients, by Award
13th Year Scholarship
Established in 2017 by Highline High School graduate and retired Alaska Airlines CEO Brad Tilden and his wife, Danielle, this scholarship supports students who may not otherwise be able to continue their education beyond high school. Awards of $5,000 are based on financial need, academic merit, and achievement.

Adelante Scholarship
Honoring the legacy of community activist Norma Ortiz, this $1,000 scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate strong community involvement and resilience.

Established in 2014, this partnership provides four $5,000 awards to Highline Public Schools graduates, including students from Raisbeck Aviation High School.

This $1,500 award supports Puget Sound Skills Center students who demonstrate teamwork and commitment to their chosen field.
