Out of a pool of 60 people who were recruited, recommended or expressed interest in becoming Highline's next superintendent, 23 people submitted applications. The school board will interview the semi-finalists on February 9 and 10.
As outlined in the superintendent search timeline, these candidates will remain confidential.
After the semi-finalists' interviews, the school board will select up to three finalists.
Candidate Town Halls
The finalists will each spend a day in Highline, visiting with students, staff, leaders and board members. Each day will end in a virtual town hall. While we don't know the finalists yet, we do know what day the town halls will take place. At the end of each town hall, you will immediately have an opportunity to provide feedback on the candidate through an online form. Please save the following dates.
Candidate #1 Town Hall
Monday, February 14
Candidate #2 Town Hall
Tuesday, February 15
Candidate #3 Town Hall
Thursday, February 17
The town halls will be live-streamed on our website. To watch them, please visit our Town Hall web page. If you need interpretation services in Spanish, Somali or Vietnamese, please use the following Zoom information.
