The Highline Public Schools Board of Directors voted unanimously on June 22 to place a $518,397,000 school construction and improvement bond on November 2022 ballots.
The school district seeks a committee of up to three people, including a spokesperson, for each of the pro and con committees, who will be responsible for the respective statements in the King County Voters’ Pamphlet.

The timeline is as follows:
- August 2: Pro/Con Committee Appointments Due
Names of committee members will be included in the voters’ pamphlet.
- August 9: Pro/Con Statements Due
Must not exceed 200 words/4 paragraphs
- August 11: Pro/Con Rebuttals Due
Must not exceed 75 words/2 paragraphs
