In 2005 and again in 2007, he was nominated for the Voices of Children award from the Children’s Alliance of Washington.
Bernie works for Wesley Community Foundation, where he serves as Campaign Manager for Wesley Des Moines, WA. Enlisting broad support, he is striving to preserve and enhance a community that has served our area’s seniors for 75 years. He lives in Normandy Park with his wife of 37 years and has a 24 year-old son, a graduate of Mount Rainier High School.
