Melissa Petrini - District 4
Melissa Petrini was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from BYU-Idaho and an associate’s degree in print journalism from Ricks College. She works part-time as a payroll specialist and bookkeeper for a dental office.
Previously, Melissa founded a non-profit serving children with autism and operated her own dance studio, teaching children of military families, including children with special needs, while stationed in Japan. Melissa has served on the Highline (now St. Anne) Hospital Foundation Board and is currently on the board of the local non-profit organization Be Heard.
Melissa and her husband live in Normandy Park with their six children, two with special needs (autism and Down Syndrome).
Melissa serves as board liaison to the Highline Schools Foundation and the state legislature.
