Planning began in 2015 with a 30-member committee of parents, teachers, counselors, paraeducators, principals and central office staff.

Over 100 families attended two community meetings in 2015 to give input into five areas (Camp Waskowitz, athletics and activities, electives, academic program and safety and security).

Transition plans paused until a bond to fund a new middle school passed in November 2016. Family meetings in each of the four service areas in spring 2018 continued the process of providing information to families and  feedback for staff to develop plans and determine details.

Next Steps

Check the Family Meetings page or look for communications in fall 2018 about more family information meetings as planning progresses.
