Elementary Enrollment

There are three ways to enroll in an elementary dual language school. The process will vary depending on your neighborhood school. Each dual language school is also paired with a partner school that allows families to opt in or out of the dual language program.

How to Enroll

If you live in the service area of a dual language school: 

If you live in the service area of a partner school:  

  • Visit your neighborhood school and enroll.        
  • Request and complete a Dual Language Request form. 
  • You will be placed on a first-come, first-served waitlist. 
  • If space is available, your dual language partner school will contact you. 
  • Transportation to the dual language partner school will be provided. 

If you don’t live in a service area of a dual language school or partner school: 

  • Visit your neighborhood school and enroll.
  • Complete and return the In-District Transfer form. 
  • You will be placed on a first-come, first-served waitlist. 
  • If space is available, a dual language school will contact you. 
  • Transportation to the dual language school will not be provided.

If you live in the service area of a dual language school and do not want to participate in the dual language program: 

  • Visit your neighborhood school and enroll.
  • Request and complete an English-only Placement Request form.
  • If space is available, you will be enrolled in your partner school.
  • If space is not available, you will be enrolled in another school where space is available.
  • Transportation will be provided.
