Locations

Highline Capable Learning Plan & Earned Honors

For the Highly Capable Learning Plan and Earned Honors, students will receive services at their assigned school based on their home address. The Highly Capable Learning Plan is available at all Highline elementary schools. Earned Honors is available at Highline’s comprehensive middle schools.

Challenge Program

For the Challenge program, students are assigned to a school based on their home address.  Elementary Challenge is available at Shorewood and Des Moines. Middle School Challenge is available at Chinook and Sylvester. Transportation is provided.

Shorewood & Chinook

Students who reside within the boundaries of the following elementary schools will be assigned to Shorewood Elementary School for Elementary Challenge and Chinook Middle School for Middle School Challenge:

  • Beverly Park
  • Cedarhurst
  • Seahurst

Shorewood & Sylvester

Students who reside within the boundaries of the following elementary schools will be assigned to Shorewood Elementary School for Elementary Challenge and Sylvester Middle School for Middle School Challenge:

  • Gregory Heights
  • Hazel Valley
  • Mount View
  • Shorewood
  • White Center Heights

Des Moines & Chinook

Students who reside within the boundaries of the following elementary schools will be assigned to Des Moines Elementary School for Elementary Challenge and Chinook Middle School for Middle School Challenge:

  • Bow Lake
  • Des Moines
  • Hilltop
  • Madrona
  • McMicken
  • Midway
  • Parkside

Des Moines & Sylvester

Students who reside within the boundaries of the following elementary schools will be assigned to Des Moines Elementary School for Elementary Challenge and Sylvester Middle School for Middle School Challenge:

  • Marvista
  • North Hill
