Thank you so much for considering Camp Waskowitz for you next camp, retreat or event.

We are a Historic CCC Camp, located 30 miles east of Seattle in the heart of the Cascades and on the South Fork Snoqualmie River. With over 300 acres of hiking trails to explore, multiple outdoor shelters, a fully finished barn, and cabins that can sleep up to 220 people, Camp Waskowitz is a cozy place to host your next retreat or camp.

At Camp Waskowitz, we are lucky enough to run an Outdoor School in the Fall and Spring, teaching six-grade students environmental education and how to be stewards of the land and their communities. We also put on a Living History program where we teach fourth-grade students about Washington State History. Our many school programs keep camp bustling throughout the school year but Waskowitz is open to weekend groups through out the year and available for longer rentals during the summer months. Please refer to our rentals calendar for availability. 

If you would like to schedule a time to walk through camp, we are available by appointment only on week days from 9 am to Noon.  Get an idea of what Waskowitz offers by viewing this video of our beautiful camp.

Pricing

Our pricing is permitted on a per person basis, please see our pricing tab for further details

Group size

Our minimum group size is 20 people. If you have less than 20 people your group can still use camp you will just be required to cover a minimum price of 20 people. Our maximum group size is 220 people. 

Food and Drinks

Camp Waskowitz is owned by  the Highline School District. Due to the fact that we are a school, we are unable to allow alcohol or tobacco on our campus. Under the same guidelines, we have strict rules we must follow in our kitchen which prohibits outside food in our kitchen. Please refer to the Meal Tab for further detail. 

Pets

We love pets! But unfortunately because we are a school, we can not allow pets on site.

Sleeping Arrangements

Our cabins are an "H" shape with two cabins on each side, each sleeping approximately 15 campers. For our purposes we use divided them into male and female cabins, but depending on your group needs you can use them however you would like. There are bathrooms in the middle that are shared between the two sides. We provide the beds, you provide the linens! Please remember to bring a sleeping bag, linens, and pillow. 

Check In/Check Out

Check in time is 3 pm and check out time is 1pm. This allows our wonderful facilities staff to make sure that camp is ready for the next group. 

Reserving Camp

If you would like to reserve camp please fill out our Rental Request Form, and be sure to look at our Facilites Rental Calendar to make sure your dates are available. Please remember that we are a functioning school most of the year, and get to introduce students to the wonder of the outdoors, so it might take us a few days to respond to your request! 

Pool Use

For our summer user groups, we do have a pool on site that is the best way to cool down after some summer camp fun! You are required to have a lifegaurd on site. The pool use fee per day is $50. If you would like us to provide a lifegaurd for you for 5 hours you can include this in your fee for $125 per day.
