Return to Learn | Fall 2020

Planning for 2020-21 School Year

We are planning for students to return to school in Fall 2020, but school will have to be different to keep students, staff and families safe during the pandemic. As always, our priority is the health and safety of students and staff.

We will begin the school year in distance learning for all grades. When infection rates decrease, we plan to move into a hybrid model that allows for appropriate distancing.

Fall Plan

Student works on a computer at home.

Based on state guidelines, we won't be able to accommodate all students in school at the same time. We are developing a model where all students return to in-person learning two days a week and do distance learning three days a week when we are able to begin reopen our school buildings.

We have established five workgroups to plan for the 2020-21 school year: school operations, whole child, investing in our people, distance learning and academics. See who is serving on the workgroups and review guiding principles.
