Distance Learning Plan

More Information Coming Soon

Updated March 25, 2020:  The Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) has changed its position on educational services during this school closure. The new guidance is that education must continue during the closure. We are working on a plan for distance learning. We are also working hard to ensure that students who need devices get them.

More information is coming this week and next week. We appreciate your patience as we adjust and readjust to shifting circumstances and direction. Thank you in advance!

Support for Families & Students

Thank you for your patience and flexibility as we provide meaningful instructional supports during the school closure. This information will be updated soon to reflect the new distance learning plan.

PRIORITIES

We have four goals for this plan:

  • Minimize the impact of student's academic development due to the school closure by providing optional activities and learning opportunities.
  • Plan for earning high school credit for 9-12 grade for the second semester when school is in session.
  • Ensure supports are in place for 12th-grade students to meet graduation requirements.
  • Prepare intensive, accelerated instruction to maximize learning once schools reopen.
