How to Clear the Block Screen on Your Chromebook

Highline allows Chromebook usage during the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. 

Even during open hours, sometimes a Website Blocked screen will appear.

If you are receiving the blocked screen on your Chromebook during approved hours, follow the directions below.

Our website can auto translate in multiple languages. Here are instructions: 

Destop/Laptop

  • Navigate to the website.
  • Select the button at the top of the website titled Translate. This is located in the blue bar next to the Schools button.
  • A dropdown will appear. Select your preferred language.
  • The website will translate.

Mobile Device

  • Navigate to the website.
  • Select the world icon at the top of the website. This is located in the blue bar next to the Schools button.
  • A dropdown will appear. Select your preferred language.
  • The website will translate.
