As of March 20, the City of Seattle is distributing $20 vouchers to families experiencing financial hardship due to COVID-19. Families will receive two mailers of 20 vouchers (total of $400 a month) over the next 2 months. Vouchers can be used at Safeway (no alcohol, tobacco, fuel or lottery tickets). Any student enrolled in Highline in grades 6-12 has the district’s permission to use HealthPoint services outside of classroom hours. Current care is delivered by phone, but there are a few exceptions to justify an on-site visit. Residential evictions have been halted and will last for 30 days or until Seattle's coronavirus emergency ends, pending council's approval. Continue to pay rent and all bills if able. Landlords cannot serve a ‘pay or vacate’, serve a notice to terminate lease or month-to-month agreement, or file an eviction because of non-payment.

Rental Housing Association of WA and WA Multifamily Housing Association has a list of rental assistance programs in King County. Most programs are NOT supporting rent currently because of the eviction moratorium in place – focusing more on immediate needs.

Sprint upgraded metered customers to unlimited data, provided customers with additional 20GB of mobile hotspot, offering complimentary rates from US to CDC-defined Level 3 countries to customers with international long-distance plans and activation fees waived. T-Mobile upgraded data plans to unlimited data plans (excluding roaming), provided customers with additional 20GB of mobile hotspot/tethering service, provided Lifeline partners to provide customers additional 5GB of data per month and increased data allowance to schools and students using EmpowerEd digital learning programs to at least 20GB per month for each participant.
