Voting Facts
- In Washington, a school levy measure must be approved by 50% of the vote.
- All voting in Washington is done by mail.
- Ballots are mailed about three weeks prior to an election day.
- Ballots must be returned by Election Day, November 3, 2020.

There are three ways to register to vote in King County:

Remember to Vote
We encourage all registered voters to vote. If you vote by mail, ballots must be postmarked no later than Election Day. Or you may turn in your mail ballot on or before Election Day at a ballot drop-off location. See a list of ballot drop-off locations in King County.
