Preparing For Your Students Future in Middle School: Families come think about what you want for your student's future and how to get there. We will spend time learning about educational operations and how life after high school can be affordable.  

9th Grade 

Life After High School & Post-Secondary Pathways: Learn the different pathways you can take after high school and how you as a 9th grade student can explore in high school to help you choose a Pathway. 

Building your College Profile: Are you ready to make your college application stand out? This interactive workshop is designed for high school students who want to craft a compelling college profile that showcases their unique talents, interests and achievements. 

10th Grade 

Future Ready Me: Exploring My Strengths and Future Careers - Learn about what skills have that you can apply to jobs, internships or school!

Applying For and Getting the Job: Come learn how to apply for a job or internship and how to make your resume or application stand out from the others. 

11th Grade 

Junior Year Success and Beyond: Learn about how to end your 11th grade year and start your senior year strong, to prepare for graduation and beyond. 

College Student Panel & 12th grade Optional: Jorn a group of current college students and learn about their tips for college and ask them questions as you prepare to be college ready! 

12th Grade 

Senior Year Lab - College & Career 1:1 Advising and Financial Aid Application Support:  Don't know where to start or need help with preparing for your plans? Come to senior lab for one on one advising, help with your high school and beyond task, personal statement application or financial aid help, college application help or to get any college career questions answered!

Parent Workshops 

Promise with Intention: In this workshop, we will be discussing the different strategies and resources to support self identifying males and non-binary students of color with their journeys in high school, college and career planning. This workshop is for families whose students are enrolled or has shown interest in the Promise Scholars Program. (Promise Scholars supports high school students in grades 10-12 and first year college students at Highline College in post-secondary exploration centered on the experience of sef-identified male/non binary students of color Promise Scholars provides students with 1-on-1 support, culturally relevant workshops, workforce development, and field trips!)

Future U Choose: Post-Secondary Pathways (9-11): After high school, there are many options for students to continue their education and receive further training, but sometimes it may feel overwhelming! Nearly 70% of all projected job openings require at least some education beyond high school. In this workshop, we'll look at the different Pathway options and see how they may align with students' strengths and interests. Presented by Brian Caylo, Highline High School.  

Paying for College & College Bound Scholarship (9-12) (English): Financial Aid 101 Presentation: How do I pay for college? I don't have the money; I cannot afford it. Come to this interactive workshop to learn about the financial aid process in this presentation given by Roderick Booker, Evergreen High School. 

Family Conversation Around Life After High School (9-12) (English): Join high school counselors to learn about how you can support your students(s) with their college and career preparation. In this session, we will share about postsecondary pathways, career fit (matching personal values, skills, traits with work environment), the college career readiness skills students should build, and resources available.

Caminos postsecundarios después de la escuela secundaria: Después de la escuela secundaria, hay muchas opciones para que los estudiantes continúen su educación y reciban más capacitación, ¡pero a veces puede resultar abrumador! Casi el 70% de todas las ofertas de trabajo proyectadas requieren al menos algún tipo de educación más allá de la escuela secundaria. En este taller, analizaremos las diferentes opciones de Pathway y veremos cómo pueden alinearse con las fortalezas e intereses de los estudiantes.
