VOICES Internship
Join the Highline Public Schools: VOICES Internship Program! In this 12-week program, you will take the first step towards your future career. Upon program completion you will receive up to $500 compensation, certificate of completion, and .5 elective credit. You will focus on four key areas:
- Professional Development: Learn essential skills for the workplace in mandatory workshop sessions on the following dates:
- In-person: January 31, 2025, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- In-person: February 14, 2025, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Virtual: March 21, 2025, 2:30 – 4:30 PM
- Hands-On Experience: Get real-world experience in your field of interest with a business or organization from March to May 2025, completing 40 hours of internship service.
- Mentorship: Receive guidance and support from experienced professionals and industry insights.
- Final Project: Showcase what you learned with a final project. Presented on May 22, 2025, at Puget Sound Skills Center.
