We want to keep you informed of positive COVID cases in your school. We recognize that it may be confusing when you receive a notification about a COVID case that does not directly affect your student (i.e., the positive case is not in your student’s classroom.)
Schools now have the option to send families a weekly summary on Fridays informing you of any cases reported in your school during the past week. You will still get a real-time notification if a positive case is reported in your student’s class or if your student is a close contact of someone who tests positive.
Some schools may opt to use the weekly summary report, while others will continue to do all-school notifications for every COVID case.
