The FREE Summer Youth ORCA Pass is Back! High school students can sign up for a three-month Youth ORCA Pass to use when safe, non-essential trips on public transit resume in King County. The ORCA Pass is available for students in grades 8 -12 who qualify for free or reduced price meals.
Due to COVID-19, ORCA cards won’t be mailed to students until after King County officials allow for non-essential travel. For more information visit the Youth ORCA Pass website.
In the meantime, please encourage students to sign up for the free program. To sign up, complete the Youth ORCA Pass sign-up form.
Many transit agencies will have reduced schedules throughout the summer and guidelines for social distancing and mask wearing. You can stay up to date by visiting the King County Metro website or following Metro on Twitter @kcmetrobus.
