Snapshot: Cedarhurst Parent Thankful for Device to Help Student Access School

Cedarhurst 1st grade student uses device from school to participate in Distance Learning.

"We really appreciate having access to the tablet [from school]. Without access to a computer or tablet, Rebecca wouldn’t be able to study at home," says Alejandra Romero, mother of a first grade student at Cedarhurst Elementary School.

"Rebecca is happy to be working from home. She said it’s comfy and fine. But, she misses her friends."

Learn how Prop. 1, the Highline technology levy, would fund more than 11,000 new devices for students and 1,500 new computers or laptops for teachers, if approved on ballots this fall:
