Summer College Visits
We are hosting college campus visits for rising seniors on Wednesdays from July 13 to August 3.
College visits are free. Space is limited. Sign up and permission slip required. Please sign up by the Thursday prior. Students with medical needs are encouraged to sign up as early as possible.
Field Trip Dates, Times & Locations:
- July 13 | 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. | Central Washington University
- July 20 | 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. | UW-Tacoma & Tacoma Community College
- July 20 | 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. | Clover Park Technical College & Bates Technical College
- July 27 | 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. | Western Washington University
- August 3 | 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. | Pacific Lutheran University
- August 3 | 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. | Seattle University & Seattle Central College
Transportation will be provided by bus from Tyee High School (4424 S. 188th St. SeaTac). Lunch will be provided.
Itinerary
- Depart from Tyee High School at 9:00 a.m.
- Tour college campus
- Hear a presentation on admissions
- Eat lunch on-campus (at no cost to students)
- If visiting multiple colleges:
- Travel to the second college
- Tour college campus
- Hear a presentation on admissions
- Depart college campus
- Return to Tyee High School by 3:00 p.m.
