We are preparing foundations for the new classroom building at Valley View Early Learning Center, south of the existing school. A crane will install the building by sections in July.

Preschool students will have access to a new space at Valley View Early Learning Center this fall. We are replacing three old portable classrooms with a new modular classroom building this summer.
The permanent structure will house three classrooms, each with its own restroom, for students enrolled in the Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP). The new building provides space for 54 all-day students or 108 half-day students (if divided into morning and afternoon sessions).
The project is funded in part by a $776,640 grant from the Department of Commerce Early Learning Facilities program.
We anticipate the modular sections of the new classroom building will arrive this week and next. A crane will set them in place on foundations south of the existing school and play area.
The new classroom building is on schedule to be furnished and ready for the first day of preschool in September.
Designed similar to the modular classrooms installed at Hilltop, North Hill, and White Center Heights elementary schools, the Valley View project includes a few accessibility upgrades. Upgraded sidewalk pathways will connect the additional building to the parking lot and integrate it with the rest of the campus.
Valley View Early Learning Center is at 17622 46th Avenue South in SeaTac.
