Tour the New Tyee
Tyee High School's Community Grand Opening is scheduled for Tuesday, October 7, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
This drop-in event offers self-guided tours. It's an opportunity for community members from the SeaTac and greater Highline communities to visit the new school building. Explore classrooms, labs, and gathering spaces in our brand-new learning facility.
Constructed with funding from the 2022 school bond, the replacement project opened on time and on budget.

Students & Staff Enjoy Their New Modern Learning Space
Tyee students and staff started their 2025-26 year of teaching and learning in the all-new facility on September 3. Here are photos from early September of students and staff getting comfortable in their next generation learning space.
