1. On your web browser (Chrome is recommended) visit the ParentVUE Portal webpage.
2. Select More Options.
3. Click Create a New Account.
   1. For additional languages or accessibility support select the options at the bottom of the screen.
4. Answer the prompted questions, then click Continue.
   • If you are new the district and do not have a ParentVUE account, the system will walk you through an account setup process.
5. Once you have set up ParentVUE, you will login to your new account and be prompted to select an enrollment packet. 
   • Current School Year (2025-2026): enrolling a new student for the current school year OR re-enrolling a student for this current school year. 
   • Verification: update information for current enrolled students. 
6. Follow the steps through the enrollment process until the final step to submit. You can save your progress and return anytime.

Families new to highline: create a parentvue account

1. On your web browser (Chrome is recommended) visit the ParentVUE portal Account Access page.

2. Login into your existing ParentVUE account or activate your ParentVUE account. To activate your account, please contact your neighborhood school or contact the Family Center for your activation key code. Once you have your activation key code, follow ParentVUE activation instructions available on highlineschools.org/parentvue.

3. When you are logged in to the ParentVUE portal, click on the “Enrollment and Verification” button in the top right hand corner.

4. Select the enrollment packet you would like to complete, and follow the steps through the enrollment process. You can save your progress and return anytime.

If your child’s school has an email address on file for you, we will send you an email with your activation key. If you do not receive the email, please check with your child’s school. Once you have received your activation key, please follow the steps below to activate your account using a web browser. 

1. Open a web browser and click the following URL (Chrome is preferred)

2. Translation options are available on the bottom right of the login screen.

4. On the Parent login screen click More Options. 

5. Select Activate Account. 

6. Read and agree to the Use Agreement by clicking I accept. 

7. Enter your first name, last name and activation key. Click Continue to Step 3. 

8. Create a user name and password. Enter your email address. Click Complete Account Activation.

If your child’s school has an email address on file for you, we will send you an email with your activation key. If you do not get the email, please check with your child’s school. Once you have received your activation key, please follow the steps below to activate your account using the mobile app. 

1. Download the ParentVUE app from the app store on your smartphone or tablet.

2. Follow the instructions to swipe left on your device.

3. Enter in Highline’s zip code (98166) to locate Highline Public Schools. 

4. Select Highline Public Schools from the list. 

5. On the main login screen, select the language you prefer. All communication from ParentVUE will be translated to the selected Language. This can be updated at any time. To up-date your language:

A) Click on Current Language. 
B) Scroll to the language desired. 
C) Click Select. 

6. From the login screen, select the option Have activation key? Create my account. 

7. Read and agree to the Use Agreement by clicking I accept. 

8. Enter your first name, last name and activation key. Click Continue to Step 3. 

9. Create a user name and password. Enter your email address. Click Complete Account Activation.

To enroll online, you will need an email address. If you do not have an email address, please use these instructions to create a free email account with Google.  

Step 1: Open up your internet browser and go to the Google Home page: http://www.google.com

Step 2: Click on Gmail at the top right corner of the page

Step 3: From the Gmail home page click on either of the “Create an account” buttons.

Step 4: To set up your new account, Google needs some information about you – your first and last names. The ‘username’ field is the unique email address that you wish to use, which will be placed before ‘@gmail.com’. Type an email name into the ‘username’ box and then fill out the rest of your information. Then click Next.

Step 5: Enter your current phone number. If your phone number does not accept text messages (SMS), there is a call option to receive the 6-digit verification code.

Step 6: Google will send you a text message that includes a 6-digit verification code. Enter this into the ‘Enter Verification Code’ section. If your phone number does not receive text messages select the ‘Call Instead’ option at the bottom. Once the verification code has been entered click on Verify.

Step 7: You can choose to provide an alternative phone number or email address for security and account recovery purposes. Complete the birthday and gender fields then click Next.

Step 8: Review the Privacy and Terms policy by scrolling down to the bottom, then click on I agree.

Step 9: The system will then open up your new gmail account with a popup that can walk you through various features in the system.
