2025-26 Lottery Results
A lottery will be held on March 3 to select students for Highline Public Schools and Schools and Programs of Choice.
This includes Big Picture Schools, CHOICE Academy, Highline Virtual Academy, Maritime High School, Puget Sound Skills Center, Raisbeck Aviation High School, Tyee Health Sciences Program, The International Baccalaureate Programme at Mount Rainier High School , and Innovation Heights Academy.
When there are more applicants than can be admitted, students are selected by lottery from the pool of eligible candidates. To be eligible, students submitted a completed application by January 31.
The admissions process is designed to accommodate the growing number of applications while maintaining each school's high-quality educational program.
If you are selected in the lottery, you will be invited to a commitment conversation meeting. Your assignment will not be finalized until that meeting occurs and you confirm your intent to attend. You may be instructed to complete additional steps once you confirm your intent to attend.
You must confirm your intent and schedule your meeting before April 4, 2025.
Your seat will be offered to another student on the waitlist if you fail to confirm your intent and schedule your meeting by the deadline. Students will be pulled from the waitlist following spring break starting April 14, 2025.

Big Picture Schools
This is the list of students selected to attend Big Picture Schools starting in the 2025-26 school year. This list includes students who are waitlisted in the order their names were drawn in the lottery.
If a student who received a seat at Big Picture Schools through the lottery process chooses not to attend Big Picture Schools, that seat will be filled from the appropriate waitlist.
CHOICE Academy
This is the list of students selected to attend CHOICE Academy starting in the 2025-26 school year. This list includes students who are waitlisted in the order their names were drawn in the lottery.
If a student who received a seat at CHOICE Academy through the lottery process chooses not to attend CHOICE Academy, that seat will be filled from the appropriate waitlist.

This is the list of students selected to attend Raisbeck Aviation High School starting in the 2025-26 school year. This list includes students who are waitlisted in the order their names were drawn in the lottery.
If a student who received a seat at RAHS through the lottery process chooses not to attend RAHS, that seat will be filled from the appropriate waitlist. For example, if a Highline resident chooses not to attend RAHS, that seat will be filled by a student from the Highline waitlist; a Seattle seat will be filled from the Seattle waitlist; an ‘other district’ seat will be filled from the ‘other district’ waitlist.
